If you would like to make a donation in Colin's memory we would like to support and give back to the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA). MND is a devastating degenerative neurological disease for which there is no treatment or cure. Colin faced this disease with positivity, strength and courage, but it caused progressive and cruel difficulties which lead to him being taken from us far too early at the age of 59. In the last few weeks of his life Colin wrote down some predictions for what the world would be like in 10 years time; with his usual positivity and hopefulness Colin predicted that there would be a cure for MND within 10 years. We would love to help make this happen in his memory so that others don't have to suffer as he did. The MND association funds research into treatments to work towards more effectively managing and curing this terrible disease. They also provide vital support and resources to patients living with the disease; the MNDA funded an ipad app for Colin to enable him to communicate when he could no longer speak and a lot of the support that he received from the local MND team was funded by MNDA.
